12月4日に オープンソースな AIM互換クライアントの「gaim」が、バージョンアップして、1.1.0 になっていました．
対応サービスは、AIM/ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, Jabber, Napstar, Gadu-Gadu, GroupWise, IRC です．
前のバージョンからの変更点は、changes より、

* Binary relocable. Gaim will find its files even if it’s installed
in a location other than the –prefix it was ./configured with.
Pass –disable-binreloc to ./configure to disable.
* IRC now has fallback encodings, and tries harder to display
something useful during an encoding error.
